What ages do you provide therapy services for?
Therapy services start at age 3 and up
Do you accept Insurance?
I am in network with BCBS, Aetna and Superior Health (foster care). I would be happy to supply a
superbill for out of network insurance companies.
What is Teletherapy Counseling?
Teletherapy has been around for some time and has shown an increase in demand over the last year to provide continued support in a safe and convenient format. With teletherapy you can receive services for yourself or your child in the safety of your home. Services will be conducted over a secure HIPPA compliant platform. The platform can be accessed from a computer, tablet or cell phone. To ensure confidentiality it is important to find a space in your home where you are comfortable and have privacy. The use of earphones are encouraged to provide additional privacy and increase clarity.
What is the price of session?
Individual Therapy services are $120 per session. I accept cash, check, all major credit cards along with health and flex spending accounts. Payment is due at the time of service and can be paid online through the practice’s secure client portal
How does play therapy work over the computer?
During the first intake appointment you will be provided with information on what items to have available for your child’s appointment. These will be things that you already have in the home that can help the child express themselves through the medium of play. With children 5 and under parent involvement is recommended to help the child with co-regulation.
How often do therapy appointment occur?
To build the necessary rapport needed to make therapy successful weekly sessions are encouraged.
